About Us

The purpose of the Senior Men's Golf Club is to increase the opportunities for, knowledge of, and pleasure in playing golf for men 60 years of age and over.

Organized in 1971 under the auspices of the Palo Alto Recreation Department, the Senior Men's Golf Club exists solely for the benefit, enjoyment, and fellowship of its members.

All regular club events are played at the Palo Alto Municipal Golf Course. General meetings are held on the first Wednesday of February and September at 9:00 a.m. at a location announced in the monthly newsletter. Executive meetings are held every other month, usually on the first Tuesday, and are open to the general membership.

A club membership roster is issued in March of each year. Only members who have paid their annual dues by February 1st will have their names included in the roster. These annual dues are neither pro-rated nor refundable after a new member qualifies.

A monthly newsletter is mailed to all active members reminding them of meeting dates as well as tournament results, special events, Good Sam reports, and other club information.
