Age: 60 or older
Applicant must show a golfing skill to justify a handicap of 40 or less. Of the first five club events played, one of the applicant's cards must total a maximum gross score of 108 or less. If he fails to do so, his application must be withdrawn.
Express a willingness to work on club committees.
Residency Requirements:
Residents of Palo Alto who meet membership requirements above will be granted membership upon application, after address has been confirmed and dues paid.
Applications from non-residents of Palo Alto who meet requirements above will be put on file according to the date submitted. Such applicants will be invited to join the club when the BOard of Directors determines that the starting times allotted for play are available.
Non-resident applicants who do not join promtply when offered membership will be moved to the bottom of the list.
A member failing to participate in at least five weekly events within a 90-day period may be dropped from the club at the discretion of the Board of Directors.
A member not in good standing may be dropped from the club.
Should a member become ill, he should contact the Good Samaritan who will notify the club secretary. If a member plans an extended vacation, he must notify the secretary of his expected period of absence.
